Our aim is to make gliding as accessible as possible. Membership to BUGC is FREE. Just join our facebook group and come flying!

We encourage new joiners to come along and have a go by purchasing a trial flight - these cost £30 and get you a 2000ft Aerotow (much better than a standard winch launch!!) PLUS 3 months membership at our host club, Bristol & Gloucester Gliding Club @ Nympsfield airfield.

Membership to our host gliding club, BGGC:

BUGC have 4 group membership cards available for those who want to continue training after their trial flight and 3 months free membership has ended. These are £150 for 3 pilots for the Academic year - so £50 each annual membership BARGAIN.

Been a long time since your trial flight? Free membership expired? Just buy another one and use the membership from that.

In the event you want individual student membership it is £99 for an academic year decreasing monthly pro-rata if you buy part way through the year.
