The committee can now confirm an agreement has been made with BGGC which means students only pay for their launches. With a winch launch @ only £7 flying does not get cheaper than this.

So April wasn't quite as good as last year but there was a strong spell albeit short which produced some massive flights.
This is a great time to progress. 'Good' weather, long days and evening flying available Wednesdays and Fridays. Climbing thousands of feet in a strong thermal is an amazing sensation and the best opportunity to do this is now till September.
The academic year doesn't really 'fit' the best gliding weather. The best time of year continues when term ends so make sure you find a club near your home to make the most of it. http://www.gliding.co.uk/findaclub/ukmap.htm

Thanks to everone who found us at FRESH this year.
We had a lot of interest and can't fly everyone immediately but keep looking at the facebook page and exploring the website and links and we will get you flying ASAP.
The ridges at our site mean we can fly all through Winter.
